In Which I Define "Assault Rifles"

"There is no such thing as an 'assault rifle'," claims Ran Dumgunad Vocate. "It is an alarmist term used to perpetuate the myth that guns kill people, when really it is people who kill people."

To assault means to attack, to harm, to kill, etc. If the gun you are using was built with the sole purpose of slaying human beings, it is a gun built for assault. An "assault rifle", if you will.

Assault rifles. Fact.
